Planning a trip often involves organizing destinations, schedules, and points of interest in one place. Coy was created by CoyCor as a digital itinerary assistant designed to help users structure their travel plans and explore destination ideas through integrated AI recommendations.
Rather than functioning as a booking platform or advertising service, Coy operates as a personal planning tool. The information you enter is used to generate itinerary structures and location-based suggestions inside the app. This document outlines how information is handled while you use Coy and clarifies the limits placed on data collection and processing.
Coy is designed as a planning tool. Information is processed only to:
· Generate and manage travel itineraries
· Provide AI-based destination and attraction recommendations
· Maintain application stability and functionality
Coy does not sell user data, does not monetize personal information, and does not share personal content with advertisers.
When using Coy, you may voluntarily submit:
· Travel dates and destinations
· Planned activities and itinerary details
· Preference inputs used for recommendations
· Optional notes related to your trip
If you choose to use AI recommendation features, your submitted planning information is processed to generate localized suggestions within the app.
Coy does not automatically track real-time background location.
Location-related data is limited to:
· Destinations manually entered by you
· Optional location selections used for itinerary planning
No continuous geolocation tracking occurs without user action.
Coy does not use any third-party AI services, external AI APIs, or external machine learning platforms to generate travel recommendations.
All itinerary analysis and destination suggestions are processed exclusively within servers and systems controlled and operated by CoyCor. User-submitted data — including travel dates, destinations, itinerary details, and preference inputs — is processed only to generate the specific recommendations requested by the user inside the app.
Coy does not transmit, share, or disclose itinerary data to:
· Third-party AI providers
· Advertising networks
· Data brokers
· Marketing partners
No user travel information is sold, rented, licensed, or used for advertising purposes.
Infrastructure used to host the application does not have permission to access, use, analyze, or repurpose user content beyond providing secure storage and system availability.
By entering itinerary information or requesting AI recommendations, you provide consent for this internal processing solely for feature functionality within Coy.
To maintain performance and diagnose technical issues, Coy may collect limited operational data, including:
· Device model and operating system version
· Application crash logs
· Server request timestamps
This information is used exclusively for system maintenance and is not used for profiling or advertising.
Coy does not collect:
· Government-issued identification numbers
· Financial or payment card data (payments are handled by platform providers)
· Biometric identifiers
· Contacts or unrelated personal files
· Behavioral tracking data outside the app
By entering travel information or using AI recommendation features, you consent to the internal processing of your submitted data for itinerary generation and suggestion purposes.
Processing is limited to fulfilling the specific features you initiate. Your data is not used beyond this scope.
You may edit or delete itinerary data at any time. Deleted information is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
Technical logs are retained only as long as necessary to maintain service integrity.
Coy applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect stored information. While no digital system can guarantee absolute security, measures are periodically reviewed to reduce risks of unauthorized access.
Coy is intended for individuals 17 years of age or older. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from users under 17. Any such data identified will be deleted.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as features evolve or legal obligations change. Continued use of Coy following updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
